THE FINISHING OF KITCHEN CABINET DOORS AND SHAPED PANELS

by admin last modified 2008-02-20 21:11

The technology is based on the spray application:
manual: pressurized or open spray booths
automatic: automatic spraying machines with different features depending on the lacquering products - productivity - finishing quality.
The curing technology depends on the type of the used coating products and uses in-line ovens with different drying systems (hot air and radiations) and hot air vertical ovens. The sanding technology is performed in line or, more often, out of the line because of the very long times required for this special treatment. The panels handling is carried out by roller, belt or bar conveyors.
The technological processes which are necessary to complete the automatic finishing process on one or both sides are always composed by several applications (stain-base coat-top coat), each step is followed by a drying  process. The application phases can be carried out  in one single machine with succeeding passages, or  they can be collocated in sequences in one finishing line while the phases are followed by the drying process and connected and/or alternated with conveyors, transfer units, turn-over units that serve to convey the panels from one phase to the following one in order to complete the technological process.
Stain application on the surface and edges of kitchen cabinet doors or shaped elements for each kind of  furniture parts that are composed of:

  • Solid wood
  • Wood veneering, applied on MDF panels- chipboards

Base and top coating in order to obtain a clear of pigmented coating result (with each gloss level required) on:

  • Solid wood
  • Wood veneering, row or stained
  • HDF - MDF
  • PVC (wrapping sheet)
