THE FINISHING OF MOULDINGS AND FRAME MOULDINGS

by admin last modified 2007-11-26 18:02
  • The application technology is based on the use of Spraying (1)  machines, Vacuum coating systems (Trafila) (2), and Flow Coating (3) systems, or sometimes as well on the use of Roller coating and curtain coater systems for the finishing of the flat sides.
The drying technology depends on the type of the used coating products and is based on different type of curing ovens that can be combined in order to complete the drying process:
Transversal ovens with hot air and IR lamps.
Vertical ovens with hot air for flash-off and curing.
In-line ovens, especially with UV lamps.
Stationary Tunnel or Chambers (natural or hot air) with Trolleys.

The sanding technology  is applied by in-line machines for continuous and complete installations. The sanding out of the line is dedicated to particularly difficult forms and to workpieces that require special treatments.

The mouldings handling is performed by moving single workpieces; only sometimes aligned workpieces are moved when the use of panel curing ovens is recommended.

The  technological processes depend on the final product destination:

  • Furniture mouldings
  • Mouldings for houses
  • Frame mouldings

And are applied on basic materials as:

  • Solid wood
  • Wood veneerings on chipboards or MDF
  • Chipboards - HDF - MDF

Stain and coat applications for both sealers and top coats are processed with the possibility to combine different application and drying systems in one line in order to obtain the desired finishing effects.
